Summary
Death was fed up. He was tired of humans disrupting the natural order, and their stubborn games of constantly choosing rebirth over finding their soulmates and accepting their final resting place.
He was leaving. Which meant there would be no more death. There would be no more rebirth. Those fools who disobeyed would be subject to the three most basic terrors in the universe and become the nightmarish forms in which they manifested.
However Death didn’t account for Dean Winchester, who wasn’t going down without a fight. But would the omega be able to fix a world abandoned by its creator and Death itself?

Summary
Castiel was in a horrible motorcycle accident that left him badly broken. His recovery has been slow and the pain immense. One of the few things that makes him happy is sitting by the windows in his living room, watching the birds at the feeders and the wildlife at play in the forest his property backs up to. He's also noticed his sexy new neighbor, and maybe he's peeked out the window at him a time or ten.
When something unnatural slinks out of the forest one night and makes it way towards Dean's house he can think of only one thing: telling the man what was happening. What happens after that is the stuff of nightmares, and they'll definitely be having them. Of course, nothing ever ends happily when monsters are proven to be real. For Cas and Dean, it's time to fight back.

Summary
His family pack has asked for very little out of Castiel over the years, but now Pack Alpha Michael is requiring Castiel to make an arranged marriage with Dean Winchester, to advance a business deal between the Eden Overpack and the suddenly wealthy Winchester Pack. Castiel obeys but not in good faith.
Castiel thinks he manages Dean’s expectations very well- he explains that other than conceiving a son together, they will lead separate lives. He might take a lover, he thinks he encourages Dean to do the same. Dean, on the other hand, enters the union in good faith and finds himself ignored, humiliated and neglected at every turn. Then one horrible heat he comes seeking Castiel out for relief, only to see Castiel in bed with his co-worker Hannah.
Warning- Castiel starts out as a pretty terrible person. I believe he redeems himself by the end.
