Summary:
A disastrous encounter with Endeavor leaves Dabi severely injured and mentally shattered. To spare Endeavor's reputation as a hero, Hawks is forced to keep Dabi prisoner in his own apartment until Dabi recovers. Stuck cohabitating as mortal enemies, Hawks attempts to better understand the motives of the villain chained up in his spare bedroom. In turn, Dabi attempts to fight, seduce, and manipulate his way out of going to jail once his recovery is complete.

During the first game night with the League Hawks is allowed to attend, he discovers something about the resident fire-user that shakes how he sees Dabi. He no longer sees just a villain, but a human, and as a hero, Hawks wouldn't forgive himself for not helping how he's able. Hawks knows he'll get in trouble later, but he can't imagine a world where anyone, even Dabi, is dead just because Hawks turns a blind eye to avoid punishment.

It’s a point of public safety that Hawks has a stylist for when he actually needs to leave the house. That sweater could cause car crashes. “I guarantee that won’t be an issue.”
Hawks needs to come out, Dabi needs to promote his debut album, and they make an awful mess of this fake relationship thing.
