Summary
In the competitive figure skating season following Yuuri Katsuki's retirement, Victor deals with rejection and heartbreak the only way he knows how. He skates to programs on the theme of lovelessness, Stammi Vicino, in an Olympic season. Struggling with the reality of his loneliness and the added pressure of the Russian Skating Federation, Victor struggles to find his passion for figure skating when he feels like he'd rather drown.
Yuuri Katsuki, who stole his heart and retired the season before, is working on a final film project for his undergraduate degree. When Yuuri contacts him, asking him to be a part of this final project, he wonders if maybe he'll rediscover his passion along the way.

Summary
There are many things Yuuri feels he can't tell Victor-- he's hopelessly in love with him, he's a prophesied hero from an old legend, he's committed a crime (accidentally) and he's going to commit another. Even walking alongside him, feeling Victor's fingers brush against his own, he feels like miles of land separate the two of them.
A new dragon crisis plagues the kingdom. Phichit is certain the Thalmor, an extremist council of the High Elf government, has something to do with it. To find out whether or not they do, Yuuri, Phichit, and Victor break into the Thalmor Embassy for answers.
