Summary
He didn't lose the advantage of not being able to take damage downstairs just to circumvent it without precaution. He's hopeful for some sense of normalcy; he's not crazy. Yet.
It's not often he feels safe enough to let anyone pull anything out on him, not a gun nor anything they had behind their back. Especially when they wore armor and he'd spied a large spear from his espionage hours ago. Through hacked public surveillance cameras not secure enough to keep him out.
A rose is met with the barrel of his gun, and the nearly unflinching emerald eyes that meet his own eyes are something special. His soft and almost ethereal smile barely wavers, unlike Boothill's own loosening grip, as Argenti shows himself to not be a threat. He presses forward to tuck the rose between his ear and head, it barely fitting underneath his wide-brimmed hat, but the audacity was above all else...
Boothill can't trust just anyone in space, especially not with colorful characters with varying agendas and shifting modem operandi. But maybe some returning company in a familiar Knight of Beauty wouldn't hurt. He at least gets to get wet tonight, which is always a plus with handsome men.

Boothill produces the poster from his pocket, unfolding it just enough for Argenti to see his own face on the bounty paper. “Wanna indulge me? Let’s talk about what you’ve been up to, ‘cuz this is quite the pretty penny you’re rackin’ up.”
Argenti’s eyes light up in an almost humored sort of way. He laughs under his breath and it sounds like love, and Boothill feels like a very gullible dog as he follows him into the shadow of one of the One and Only’s wings.
“If you were anyone else, I might’ve been tempted,” Boothill muses. “But I can promise you that someone is bound to be, if not me. You’ve got too nice of a face.”
