Summary
For the prompt:
After Mary dies, John and Sherlock raise baby girl Watson together at Baker Street. Platonic, just friends at least at first, with John (and Sherlock, to a lesser extent) mourning Mary but if it develops into something more then that would be a wonderful added bonus.
People assume John and Sherlock are a couple even more so, thinking the baby is their adopted daughter.
As the baby gets a bit older and starts to talk she starts to call Sherlock daddy as well as John. John tries to teach her that no, Sherlock is Sherlock, but she carries on.
Then, one day, John sees Sherlock playing with the baby, making her laugh, soothing her to sleep etc. He never corrects her again on calling Sherlock daddy.Bookmarked by otala
