    Bookmarker's Notes

Edgeworth spots Blackquill working late at the Prosecutor's Office, offers him a spare bedroom to spend the nights while he can't find a place to stay (during Christmas, hotel fees are too expensive and applying for apartments has changed a lot since 7 years ago, not to talk about how much more difficult it is to have your application accepted as an ex-convict).
Miles knows the freedoms you lose when the promise of early death is lifted.

    Summary

“You’re proposing… a hug?” Robotnik muses, more of a thought than a question, like he’s trying it out mentally first.

Stone doesn’t speak, doesn’t dare interrupt him, in the hope that maybe, maybe, he’s actually considering it.

(Robotnik is touch starved, and Stone is a problem solver.)

    Bookmarker's Notes

Blackquill gets support from Edgeworth, Athena and Apollo. Realizing he can be vulnerable around this company, he doesn't feel so alone. The multiple electroshocks inflicted by the Phantom have left him with a seizure disorder. Taka breaks the window of his office to fly over to Edgeworth's to alert him when Blackquill has his first seizure.

Before his seizures start, he feels like what's around him isn't real, he begins to dissociate. Right before his fall, he can hear the Phantom in his head like he's reliving it over and over, which he technically was, for a while. “I keep hearing … ‘Don’t worry, we can rehabilitate you’ before I completely lose control of my body…."

    Bookmarker's Notes

All AA4 fans (and people who want to become AA5 fans) should read this collection and I'm not kidding. These works have changed my views on these games for the better. I already loved AA4, but now I'm head over heels over Dual Destinies too.

This author is insane in terms of accuracy to the games (taking advantage of in-game quotes, even going as far as connecting the story to the outside games), easter eggs, observations, FORESHADOWING, insights, credible explanations to unexplained events/plot holes in the games, oh and the parts that are completely invented happening between cases are so worth it and in character!

These works were so meticulously crafted, it's beyond me. I've never highlighted paragraphs and wrote notes so much in my life. They have managed to evoke emotion in me like no other has, to the point of changing my views and headcanons about the source material. Genuine hurt, awe, excitement. It's a full bundle.

To make a point, I'm planning on printing these to have on my shelf.
