Jungkook was in too deep. For a high schooler, he considered himself to be pretty mature for his age. He often got compliments from teachers and friends alike that he seemed wise beyond his 16 years. His own older brother, Yoongi, arguably the oldest-acting young person he knew, even said he was mature. That’s why his current predicament was so out of character in his own mind. Jungkook never took much interest in dating, despite the numerous girls in his class who would leave notes on his desk at school. They were pretty, sure, but none of them ever really caught his eye. Imagine his surprise when he saw Yoongi’s best friend Kim Namjoon for the first time in 3 years and immediately became smitten.
