Summary
Naruto keeps losing Sasuke. He trains with Jiraya for 5 years and still can’t bring the Uchiha home. Shikamaru is there to pick up the pieces, as long as he doesn’t make it worse first. That is, of course, until Sasuke comes back.
AKA I rewrite Shippuden with several deeply gratuitous sex scenes that really have no business in this story lmfao.
This is very canon divergent after Part 1. Part 1 remains canon, the prologue chapter taking place right after the Sasuke Recovery Mission arc. Then the interlude between Part 1 and Shippuden is 5 years instead of 2, as I wanted to have everyone be at least 18, turning 19 for obvious non-plot reasons. Sasuke and Team Taka join the Akatsuki, and Sasuke confronts Itachi then. If you have any questions pls ask, I have it all written down but it can get a little muddy :)
