Basically they"re all in college and they"re all a mess. I’m using this as a way to cope after Season 2 of Arcane because they all deserve a happy ending. Fuck you, Riot. Anyway, please enjoy. This fic is ded one of my big loves. It"s genuinely so immaculate at portraying how hard and dire Remus"s situation would have been after it all went down and it shows how well he got it together for Harry and I just uh.
I think it needs to be taken into account how harmful some of the behaviour enacted by his friends was upon him as a werewolf as much as they probs meant well, they obviously did things wrong and took it out against him. I do hate the idea tho that Sirius being a Black is the same. Like being part of the Black family in magical society was Def a privilege.
10/10 you will never recover after reading -

I promised myself I would only properly get into this if it got to like the 50k mark so I know it"s serious ab itself. Really loved what I read so km hopeful. I really want Lily and Dorlene to be ppl. I love wolfstar but sometimes women are so disregarded and have no personality in their fics. And I hate when lily evans is washed down and not given respect cuz she was so close and important to Remus in hogwarts.
Also Dorcas was like the best witch at hogwarts, she was so powerful and I haven"t seen one Dorcas centered fic.

Remus Lupin is freshly twenty years old and sitting on a park bench in central London, he has a squashed pastry bag next to him and a cup of tea clutched between perpetually cold fingers.
He moved to London eight months ago in search of a new doctor after having grown up on a little farm in Wales, and he hasn’t taken well to city life. He"s taken to this park mostly because the trees are dense, the people are sparse, and there are birds. Nice ones that sing and hop from bench to bench scavenging for dropped bits of food or else pulling worms from the earth. Today he’s watching a pair of ducks glide easily across the pond. He thinks they must have a nest nearby, and in a few weeks there will be ducklings.

Remus Lupin has always been sick, and he"d just like to feel normal for once. Sirius Black seems like the perfect man with a perfect, exciting life.
