Summary
Steve and Eddie were always the perfect goalie tandem. Their friendship on and off the ice made them the best. When Steve suffers a career-ending injury less than a year into their NHL debut, he has to give up more than just his goalie pads.
Nine years later, Steve’s daughter, Rory, wants to be a goalie just like he was. He thought the hardest thing he’d have to face was the practice schedule, or the price tag, or missing work for tournaments.

With a sickening crunch of grinding gears, the engine of Mobius’ rental car seizes up and leaves him coasting to a stop on the side of the road. He’s about fifty kilometers outside of the nearest town of any size, and it’s late. There hasn’t been another car on the road for a while. His phone shows not a single bar of service.
In short, he’s completely screwed.
(Or: Loki & Mobius' lives become inextricably entangled when they meet on a deserted Norwegian road. Or, or: 3 times Loki and Mobius saw the northern lights together, and one when they actually appreciated them.)
