“Eddie and I are able to communicate without words,” Buck keeps going, completely ignoring Bobby. “We’re like, the best dynamic duo in this firehouse.”
“The power of our friendship allowed us to survive a psycho firefighter!” Chim says.
“Uh, you want to talk about trauma, Chim? Really?” Buck retorts back. “Because, Eddie and I can go all. Day. Long.”
“Please, don’t.” Bobby groans.
God. He just wanted to enjoy some nice breakfast, is that so much to ask?
“Anyway, Eddie and I are so in sync, we could probably, like, rob a bank or something and not get caught.”
“Chim and I broke into Bobby’s office,” Hen declares.
Bobby raises an eyebrow at her as he puts his utensils down.
“And we didn’t get caught,” Chimney smirks. “Clearly, we are the best duo in this firehouse.”
“That’s it!” Buck yells. “We are settling this once and for all!”Or Buck, Eddie, Chimney, and Hen plan a heist to settle the debate of "who is the best duo of the 118". Buck and Eddie find love in the process. Bobby just wants to have some peace.

“Eddie,” Buck whispers-shout. “Do you remember last night?” He watches as Eddie looks down, sees the moment he notices the band around his finger, and can tell the exact moment the memories hit him. Buck looks at his own hand. Fuck. Yeah it’s real. “We – we got married.”

Why isn’t Eddie panicking? Why is his voice so even? Doesn’t he realize what it means? They fucked up. They both did, they both let their drunken selves take over, and they made a mess of everything. So why isn’t Eddie panicking? Buck would expect him to, if he’s honest. Eddie has been married in the past, he panicked when people assumed his relationship with Ana was going in this direction, so how can he be so chill about getting married to him?
