Summary
The sound of Xie Lian’s breath catching behind him made Hua Cheng’s heart race. He didn’t know what he was doing. He knew what it sounded like, but it could’ve been anything. He stared at the wall, teeth digging so roughly into his lip it was on the verge of tearing as he tried not to focus on the shifting sounds of the blankets, or the sound of Xie Lian’s soft moan. He needed to mute it. But to do that, he had to turn around. Hua Cheng wasn’t sure how he’d gotten himself into this situation. He wasn’t this guy, he didn’t intrude on people like this, certainly not Xie Lian.
“Mn San Lang…” Hua Cheng could feel his brain begin to melt as Xie Lian moaned the name he’d given to him and the desire to turn around was getting harder and harder to resist, “It’s okay. You can watch. I want you to watch…”

It was only supposed to be a simple job; watch over the newest member of the witness protection program. It wasn't Hua Cheng's fault that he was so pretty. It certainly wasn't Hua Cheng's fault that his mark was trying so hard to tempt him.

Summary
The sound of footsteps instigates Xie Lian to lift his head from his tablet. His eyes follow the shuffling noise until he sees a pair of slippers make their way into the kitchen. He isn’t sure what compels him to track his eyes up the silhouette but it throws him back a little to see a very half-naked man stroll into the room.
Yin Yu’s attention is also stolen by the rustling in the kitchen and throws a glance over his shoulder. “Nice of you to finally join us. You couldn’t at least put on a shirt?” he says with a tinge of irritation.
“This is my house and I didn’t authorise any of you to be here. You’re lucky you got pants,” Hua Cheng gruffs, with his back still facing the lounge.
Yin Yu does not try to hide his exasperation and rolls his eyes. “This is Xie Lian. The lawyer I hired. For you.”

Truthfully, Xie Lian is still unsure of whether Hua Cheng is actually religious, but this banter is too good to pass up, so if he plays up the act a little, well, at least the other person in the booth doesn’t comment on it.

Spiritual energy he didn't have enough of to spare any, years of his life he didn't know how many he ought to offer, and in terms of material wealth, he was well and truly broke… While ruminating on this problem he began chewing on his lip, absent-mindedly worrying it between his teeth in deep contemplation.
"How about a kiss, gege?"
In the Gambler's Den, Xie Lian bets a kiss - and loses.
Then he loses again. And again. And again.
