There is a tight feeling under his ribs, burning, almost like being winded. It is panic. Saya is panicking and he wipes his hands on his robes, the silk, reed-thin, immediately saturated with his sweat.

A canon-divergent(ish) AU where the Igutu twins were never seperated but taken by their mother as babies to be raised at a temple outside of Arth's borders. Being robbed immediately upon his return to Korea isn’t how Vincenzo intends to start his so-called vacation, and yet it’s only because of this that he stumbles through the streets towards Geumga Plaza, the last of his cash tucked into the pocket of his ruined suit. It’s on the streets, mumbling to himself, that the headline of a newspaper catches his eyes, Babel Group… Anything after that is lost on Vincenzo. He buys the paper and reads the article immediately, eyes drawn to the picture.
Chairman Jang Hanseo, the caption reads. Hanseo. Vincenzo does the math in his head; Hanseo would be twenty eight now. “Has it really been twenty years since I last saw them?” he mutters to himself.
