“I said it was a misperception,” Viktor repeated a little bit louder, enunciating his words to the point where Jayce considered feeling insulted. “You think you are unremarkable because you are inexperienced. A spoiled rich kid from the upper cities of Piltover. I mean what have you ever had to fight for?”
Jayce bit the skin on the inside of his cheek, trying to stomp down the righteous indignation that threatened to rise up and explode into anger. He was here for a reason, and misplaced frustration would not benefit him. Whether Viktor was trying to get a rise out of him or simply speaking his mind, it didn’t matter.
