Thing is, compliments don’t work with Remus. He endures them with a sad, uneasy smile. An expression that manages to say, 'Thank you for the effort' and 'Please don't bother,' without a single syllable. What Remus doesn't seem to hear is: Sirius doesn't care about the belly, the grey, the wrinkles, never has. It's always been about who lives inside.
