“No!” Rey cut her off.
Why on earth was Rose talking about Ben that way? He was certainly not those things. She shook her head in denial but clearly her friend was having none of it.
“Alright. I’ve been running with him every morning.” Rey confessed.
“That guy,” Rose stared at her in disbelief, “THAT GUY is the one you’ve been running with. The one you get up a little bit earlier for, the one you come home and talk about…”
“Shut up!” Rey cut across her friend and Rose smirked at her.
“Ah, it’s all becoming clear now.”
“Nothing is clear, Rose,”
“Ah, but it is. You’ve been out running every morning with a hot secret service agent and - ”
“Stop it Rose. He’s just a bloke that I met one day, a normal person that…”

Summary
Eager to start a new life, Rey bribes her way onto a ship bound for Canada and disguises herself as a young man to become the irascible Captain Solo's cabin boy.
This goes exactly as you think this will go, with lots of angst, smut and drama along the way.
Rey was going to have to undress him. All of him this time, and there was no escape.
There was such a mixture of emotions running through her head that she barely knew how to separate them. The most immediate was nerves, the fear that this was another chance for him to discover her secret. But almost as intense was the burning curiosity to find out what lay under his breeches.
And then finally, hardest to name but growing in intensity, was the understanding that she found this man attractive, very attractive, to an almost distracting degree, where just being near the heat of his body created a corresponding heat in her own.

Summary
“Here you go,” Rey finds herself murmuring, keeping the strip of chicken still so the cat can inspect it, “all for you.”
Her heart twists a bit upon seeing this cat up close. An old scar curves down its little face, barely missing its eye before it slips down to disappear under its chest. Rey doesn’t think she’s ever seen such dark irises on a cat before: chocolate brown, nearly as dark as the pupil in the low light. Like this cat was birthed from the night itself.

It’s a cold dark night when Rey feeds the little stray cat she meets the rest of her rotisserie chicken. But her new companion is not all he seems.
Based off of that one video with the black cat eating a rotisserie chicken on the sidewalk while Mamma Mia plays in the background. And Afterblossom’s amazing addition of the cat actually being demon Kylo in disguise.
