Opening the first page makes something tug at his heart, not hope. Scaramouche isn't hopeful for anything to take the easy route with him anymore, he almost expected it. But he still curses out loud as he sees the first pages.
This is absolutely no Teyvat.
So either people completely forgot the real history of the world where he was born, or he is really, really far away from Inazuma at the moment. somewhere called Gotham apparently.
(OR Scaramouche gets booted into Gotham because I think it would be funny, and I want him and Damian to be a chaos duo of siblings, sue me.)
