Summary
There are many worlds in the Supernatural universe. The world we know is where Dean is Michael's true vessel and Sam is Lucifer's. But another world exists where neither are true vessels; they play a different crucial role in a different prophecy, but one that ends just as badly.
Sam and Dean must confront their selves from this other world when the two are swapped. Sam in our world gets stuck with a demon Dean who acts as a general for Lucifer's army. Dean in our world gets transferred to the other world where Lucifer...runs a strip club? Wait...is that his brother on stage?

Summary
Sam has started the Apocalypse and the guilt consumes him. He's broken by Dean's abandoning of him and wonders why he's still around.
Season Five Episode 3 (and the beginning of episode 4); I was having a lot of feelings about Sam's arc and how it relates to Dean. I did not finish episode four before writing, so it's canon compliant to the point of Sam calling Dean about Lucifer. After that, the stress gets to Sam, and he doesn't see the point anymore.
