Summary
Wolfwood prays. He prays he will be forgiven by Vash. He prays that he’ll have more nights with Vash, with the moon and the stars as their only witnesses. He prays for an ending that will be different than the one they will have.

“That’s enough for you.” Wolfwood helps him stand with a hand under his arm. Vash stumbles, catching himself with an arm around Wolfwood’s shoulders. He takes a look at the man in front of him. His fringe is damp from dancing and he has a slight blush from exertion. Vash can’t resist anymore.
He remembers what that woman did the other day.
Vash plays the part of being extremely drunk and leans forward, accidentally kissing Wolfwood on the lips, off-center to top it off. Then he leans his forehead on his shoulder. “I’m tired,” he whines, pretending like nothing happened. His ears and face are red but that can be blamed on the alcohol.

“When did you two get so big, huh?” Vash says, hand on his bump, huffing when they don’t kick this time. “Yeah, now you don’t kick.”
Vash sits for a while, crossing his legs, looking down at his spread of cards before looking again at the one he chose. At least he knows what paint he wants to get now. Wolfwood’s going to kick his ass for sure when he finds out Vash overestimated what he can do this far along in his pregnancy. Again.
