A God arose, one that waved her hands, staining it in malignance as she sang the tunes of the Abyss. She stole the bodies that had been laid to rest, desecrating them and invoked Morax's anger at the slight to his people. Spirits crying as they remained locked in a rotting carcass, unable to cross the bridge over the Naihe river*.
Morax, seeing the suffering of the people he had sworn to protect, then vowed to defeat the cursed god. And with his Adepti, fought against the god for a tireless months. However, the power of the abyss was a curse and ate away at the Adepti, corrupting them and turning them against each other so Morax withdrew and used his own being to purify the curse and sought to find another way.
