edit 3/3/24 - man, generative ai sure did get kinda evil in the past two years, huh? oops! i would argue that this story is mostly passable because its entire novelty rests on the fact that an ai made it, rather than it being an earnest attempt at replacing the concept of art. but if this still feels kinda icky to you then that is fair
