Summary
During Childbirth, Inko Midoriya dies, and the baby dies with her. Izuku Midoriya is left behind in the land of the living.
So her father comes to pick her up.
Her father, who left not long after she was born, who never visited, because he couldn't be bothered to fight her mother on the subject, who Izuku didn't know. Her father who didn't love her enough to even call.
Izuku moves in with her father and his family. He had an entire family that didn't include her.
To say she felt out of place was an understatement, not that she'd admit it.

Izuku goes to reach for his wallet but the tall handsome guy stops him.
"Nah, it's on him. Trust me. Now...why don't you and your cute freckles walk on outta here, yeah?" The blonde says, so very casually that Izuku almost does.
"What are you...going to do?"
"Fuck some shit up." He bounces the baseball bat on his shoulder.
"Excuse me?!" The clerk yells.
"Fuck lots of shit up, to be more specific." His leather jacket stretches to show off his...very nice muscles. Yeah, those are nice. Muscles are nice. "I'd ask for your name and number, but then the cops would find it on me if they got here before I finished up. If this asshole has already pressed the panic button under the counter, then I've only got about six minutes before cops flood the parking lot. So, you should probably leave."

Summary
The boy straightens up. He’s about half a head shorter than Katsuki, face soft and youthful and sweet. He turns to look at him properly. His dark hair shines in the dying light, basket of blooms looped over one arm and mouth quirked into a tiny half-smile. The sun hits his face and makes his eyes a bright greeny-gold, just like emeralds.
Katsuki likes emeralds.
“Pretty,” he says, reaching out and picking the stranger up around the middle. He’s surprisingly heavy, although Katsuki doesn’t mind. “I like you. Come see my nest.”
The boy hits him.
He’s stronger than he looks, turns out. Katsuki drops him and falls onto his back, pain blooming across his face. Birds sing. The sky’s a lovely shade of orange, clouds floating lazily by. The boy scarpers. He leaves his basket of flowers behind, footsteps thumping on the ground and fading away as he escapes.
The sun sets. Katsuki, lying flat on his back with a bloody nose, decides he’s just fallen in love.

When Katsuki gets asked if he could share his table with some random stranger because the restaurant was at its capacity, he doesn't deny.
He is a hero after all, so what could possibly happen to him?
When said stranger - a young woman with wild green hair and big eyes Katsuki could fall into - doesn't recognize him as Ground Zero and starts talking bad about him, it was love at first insult.

Kaminari snapped his head to look at him, a smile appearing on his face. He clutched the box to his chest, yelling, "you can't make me do anything!" Kaminari fell to the floor, sliding along on his back down the aisle.
Izuku burst out in laughter, enthralled that Kaminari had understood his reference.
The sparky teen, still on the floor, scooched over to him on his back, looking up at Izuku with a dopey grin.
