The first time he built a tableau, out of poor Freddie Lounds no less, he prayed that the Ripper would see him. He must have. The idea thrills him, gives Will a sense of wanting he hasn’t felt since the first time he saw a Ripper scene.
Suddenly the universe’s message is well–received. He knows this face. He knows those eyes.
And, evidently, those eyes know his too.

“I think I’m dying.”
Hannibal blinks, feeling blindsided, before a surge of relentless anger floods every corner of his body. Will stares with that same vacant mask he’s built, giving nothing away.
“You are not dying.” He replies, sure as can be. Of course, Will isn’t dying. Ridiculous boy, how could he—
“Maybe I should.”
And Hannibal freezes.
Blood, bones, and tar all turn to ice. His spine straightens without his permission and Hannibal leans back, fixing his unmoving boy with a blank stare that reflects a calmness that he no longer feels.
Will drops his eyes, clenches his hands into fists, then releases. “Maybe I should just let whatever this is…” He swallows hard. “Kill me.”
_________________Will calls Hannibal in a panic after he sleepwalks and ends up in the woods. Hannibal finds him and gets him home safely, but there are more than just nightmares and exhaustion crawling around in Will's mind now, and Hannibal begins to realize that perhaps he pushed too far.

Jack Crawford, bloody, beaten, and brave, has crawled his way out of the pantry on his belly, blood still pouring from his gouged throat. His previously discarded gun has found its way into his hand and is raised toward Hannibal, ready to put a bullet through his head, to end the Chesapeake Ripper once and for all.
Oh, but Will Graham is much faster.
Before he can do anything to stop it, Will has stepped to the side, shielding Hannibal’s body with his own just as the disoriented agent takes his shot. The pop echoes throughout the small space, shaking the walls and the Earth beneath their feet, pulling a terrified scream out of young Abigail with its power.
_________________A Mizumono Fix-It where Will takes a bullet, Hannibal changes his mind, forgiveness is bestowed, and our Murder Family gets a happy ending in Florence. Oh, and Abigail gets a girlfriend. Sogliato still thinks he's hot shit, though, that hasn't changed.

Tentatively I’ve decided to make this a series of fluff, tenderness, and occasional angst inspired by quotes from literature. I’ll say now that this won’t be updated consistently 😭✋🏾. I’m a senior in college.Excerpt:
“Whatever you feel matters to me. Always Henry,” Alex says gently.
“I know, I know.” Henry says and then adds seriously, “I know. Thank you darling.”
“Come here,” Alex murmurs and shifts back toward the headboard, pulling Henry with him; they melt into each other.
“You don’t have to say anything but I’ve got the feeling there’s more to this. Am I right?”
Henry freezes and then nods against Alex’s chest. What he says next doesn’t surprise Alex.
“I don’t, I—”
Henry struggles to get the words out and Alex strokes his back soothingly.
“I don’t want to lose you. I can’t.” Henry says at last, voice cracking a little.
