cryptocracy is a science fiction adventure centering on two of the least utilized ex-military personnel to ever come out of earth, stationed on the least significant planetoid in the system, thrust into one of the deepest conspiracies in human history. follow them from week to week as they rub elbows with pirates, uncover the truth, and learn how to survive in a universe where their own government wants to kill them.

“That’s what we are,” Death responds, trying again for a small smile. “Me and D—”
“Don’t,” Hob interrupts, far stronger than he meant to, and Death looks surprised for as long as it takes him to get out, “Don’t, please. I-I want to hear it from him.”
Sympathy colors Death’s gaze even as Hob feels his face burn. Six hundred years, Hob thinks—he’ll be damned if he finds out his Stranger’s name from anyone but the odd man himself.
