Summary
Smoke danced between their fingers in the shadow of their golden days. The first time they had shared a cigarette, Silco was twelve, Vander was thirteen. He had coughed and didn't know how to inhale the smoke, Vander laughed while his eyes burned.
Silco's fingers were numb. It was a feeling he welcomed. The blisters, the cold, the hunger. Love. All of the things that built him, numbed the edges of his body. Zaun, their Zaun, was made only to lapidate the finest, roughest gems.

Summary
Till stood right beside the front doors, his back against the wall. The lighting was positioned on the other side, and shadow befell him like a comforter. The guy hadn't seen him yet.
Till had never seen his stalker up close. He always seemed to vanish as soon as Till was done with his show, so now, it was Till’s turn to just… look at him. He was a handsome guy, to be honest, his clothes were prim and proper, and so was his hair. He seemed out of place in a bar like this, especially in this dingy street outside, but the night suited him, and now, it couldn't have been just a trick of the light. His eyes had, indeed, a deep red glow to them. Till wasn't sure what compelled him to do it. Maybe it was the way the man paused, took in the cloggy night air, the way his pale skin looked against the dark frame of the bar entry. He realized, then, he had never heard the man's voice.

Summary
When Fujieda woke up, it was already too late. There was a dull panic that rose in his chest every time this happened, when he'd wake up and the opposite side of their bed would be empty, a still lukewarm ghost of his presence in the crumpled sheets. Ideally, Fujieda would wake up too when he screamed or gasped awake, hyperventilating, and so he could soothe him and pacify him into staying in bed and trying to go back to sleep.
He had a bad feeling tonight.

Summary
He closed the book, put it back in place carefully. “Once divinity enters your body, it never really leaves.” He got closer to Sethos, and even though he stepped back to give Hat Guy space, he only kept getting closer. “It takes root inside you, and when it’s gone, the roots stay,” Sethos felt the back of his knees hit his bed, and Hat Guy only stopped then, they'd be face to face if Hat Guy wasn't slightly shorter. He put a hand over Sethos’ chest. “They wrap around your organs, the deepest parts of you, and when divinity is ripped from us, its roots stay lodged inside, like a parasite.”
Us. When divinity is ripped from us.

Summary
That thick, red hair captured in a ponytail. His broad shoulders. Diluc has changed and yet remained the same. Kaeya knows this to be the magical fate of all things, like the bones in the earth that have melted to slick black liquid: fuel for the future. Whatever simulacrum Kaeya’s memory had constructed of the former Diluc is obsolete in the face of total, unflinching reality.
A feeling once thought to be extinct rises up in Kaeya. Terrible, monstrous longing.
“So it is you.” The gruff way in which Diluc says it doesn’t sound like an invitation at all, but Kaeya chooses to interpret it that way.
Beads of sweat lay clustered on Diluc’s brow—his halo of labor. Kaeya wants to lick it away, to toil in the salt fields of Diluc’s freckled skin. He would gladly give himself over to the profession of worship.
“Tell me you missed me,” is what he chooses to say.
After eight years of separation, Kaeya is ready to start over, but Diluc wants to do it differently.

Summary
A normal person would not cast another glance at the man in torn clothes, filthy and disturbingly thin. A drug addict, an alcoholic, or something of the kind. A normal person would avert their gaze in disgust and swiftly walk away.
But Childe was anything but normal, and the tiny body he found laying on the ground, bruised and covered in scars, held a promise of fulfilling all of his twisted desires.Bookmarked by natasinim

Summary
Achilles finds himself in a strange place - when moments earlier he’d just been fatally wounded in battle during the Trojan war. He’s found by Patroclus, unsuspecting future doctor, and while Achilles remembers everything, including the intimate relationship he and Patroclus shared, Patroclus doesn’t remember anything, and has no idea what’s going on. This leads them on a journey of remembering the past, but also finding each other all over again, in a brand new modern era.
