He looks up to offer Xiao Jingrui his polite smile, and almost freezes. There are not so many years between them, and yet. In Xiao Jingrui’s eyes lies a light, a warmth, that Mei Changsu has not possessed since long before he was Xiao Jingrui’s age. Since long before he became Mei Changsu.
Even with the fresh tea, Mei Changsu can barely feel the heat through his fingertips. Something tells him that it is hot, but he cannot feel the warmth. His chest is tight and all his limbs even colder than usual.
Xiao Jingrui smiles again, and lifts his cup with steady hands.

Boya slowly pulls up the sleeve of his robe for Qingming to see his arm. Although it’s mostly healed now, a scar the perfect mirror of the injury that was on his wing still remains.
Qingming reaches out to touch it and his finger on the still sensitive skin makes him shiver. “Are you a bird spirit?”
“Yes,” Boya says, and it’s not a lie. Fenghuang are birds.

He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
