“Must you think so loudly?" Obi-Wan groans, face hidden in the crook of his arm. "I’d finally managed to go to sleep."
Cody raises an eyebrow. The other man hadn't snored once, he was full of bantha shit if he thought Cody believed that he'd fallen asleep.
"It can't be me." Cody says, "A Jedi once told me that my thoughts were always orderly, neat, and quiet."
Obi-Wan scoffs, "There must have some kind of personal bias involved." he says. He shifts slightly, and in the dim light of the singular glowrod on the wall, Cody can just make out the sweat-soaked sheet rucked up around Obi-Wan's hips.
Cody's throat, already dry, becomes downright parched at the sight. Fumbling for a distraction, he takes a sip from the canteen set beside their temporary cot. It's hot, far from refreshing, and does little to quench his new found thirst.
