Agatha surged forward, grabbing Rio's jacket with both hands. For a moment, she wasn't sure if she was going to push her away or pull her closer. The choice crystallized in the space between heartbeats.
"Fuck you," Agatha breathed, and crashed their lips together.
The kiss was violent, all teeth and desperation and months of denied wanting. Rio responded immediately, one hand tangling in Agatha's hair while the other gripped her hip hard enough to bruise. They fell backward, clearing a space among the books and ritual components with little regard for academic preservation.

Summary
This is my rewrite of Agatha’s pregnancy scene with Nicky. I hated that Rio left her alone and it didn’t make any sense. So I wrote my own version where Rio doesn’t abandon her love while she’s in agony and tries to find solutions to prevent nicks death.
There will be a separate smut chapter that is directly connected to this. But I wanted everyone to be able to read this one, so I separated it.
Also for the smut only readers, this is worth reading as it leads directly to the smut. And if you’re like me you love romance and smut!
