Summary

my thoughts were for this to be a sort of backstory for the "one time that meant a lot" to derek, and see where their relationship goes during and beyond the events of the unrelenting aubergine, and make sure they all get the happy ending they deserve :D

Sometimes he thought back to how this all started, letting himself get caught up in that cliché of the way it came to pass – slowly at first and then all at once. There was that one show, small glances shared between them all.
