"Robert heard something crash – in truth there probably was no crashing sound, but a thing or two took a plunge in the universe, rearranging the space time continuum as Robert locked eyes with the man.
Jesus Christ.
Not quite, but a revelation in his own right for sure.
There was a pair of ice blue eyes staring into his; those eyes framed by a slightly smug face, casual in a confident sort of way - a nicely trimmed beard, and the most curious little smile.
Robert just stared.
He hadn’t dated a bloke since his early twenties - he’d never been one to favour either gender, but the interesting blokes seemed to have all gone into hiding.
Until this one.
This one was definitely interesting.
“Hiya. I’m Aaron,” he said nonchalantly."
Robert is about to go mad over people ruining the perfect day he planned for his favourite person, but then he meets someone who rattles him in a completely different way. That someone is intriguing - and not just because he looks devastating in a suit.

"The lad's just there with his freckles, messy blonde hair and flickering eyes, talking and noticing him; it’s giving Aaron an uneasy feeling because the lad smiles a bit too brightly on a stupid summer Thursday, when it’s too hot and too slow for absolutely anything.
No-one's got reasons to be that happy.
"What’s your name?” he asks like it’s any of his business; Aaron tells him anyway, apparently he thinks it is.
"Robert,” the lad says, “my name, that is.”
He throws the lad a glance. “I’ve gotta go back to work. See ya.”
Green eyes blink at him calmly. "I hope so."
Aaron’s already turned away and he doesn’t look at the smile, but he feels it on his heels when he walks off - literally on his heels, because the bloke’s looking at his shoes.
It’s eleven am, the day’s already been long and Aaron Dingle’s cheeks are on fire, as are his heels.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s afraid he’s gonna find out anyway."
