Summary
Atsumu is born trying to reach for the unreachable. He is born running and clawing and extending his arms to the sky, hungering metaphorically in the way that Osamu hungers literally, wishing and yearning and wanting so terribly that he sometimes wonders if he will suffocate under the weight, someday.
Atsumu has always tried to reach for the unreachable. First: an eternity of volleyball. Then: a lifetime of happiness that will leave him reeling and happier than Osamu. Now: Sakusa Kiyoomi, mesmerizing outside hitter and everything Atsumu can never have.
In which Atsumu is so in love with Sakusa Kiyoomi that he's willing to let Sakusa break his heart by becoming friends with benefits

Summary
“Miya. It’s cold. I wanna go home.”
Atsumu knows he’s being petty, but he sinks to the ground in a crouch and curls himself into a miserable ball. Sakusa doesn’t trust him. His hitter doesn’t trust him. His best friend on the team—scratch that, in life—doesn’t trust him. How is he supposed to live? He won’t make it to the Olympics if Sakusa doesn’t trust him. If Sakusa doesn’t like him, Atsumu might as well stay out here and wait to die.
“You’re so dramatic,” Sakusa says.
Atsumu’s only response is a hiccuping sniffle.
World-class setter Miya Atsumu is what others might call an ‘emotional drunk.’

Summary
“You promised me forever,” Kiyoomi accuses. “You laid right here and told me that you never wanted anything else. You meant it. I know you did. And then you left.”
It’s true. Atsumu had said that. He’d meant it then and he still means it now.
That didn’t mean they shouldn’t have talked about the reality of bonding. About whose house they’d live in, and if they wanted to have kids, and what forever really looked like in practice instead of Atsumu’s vague childish conception.
Forever meant getting older together, making decisions together, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.
For better was easy. For worse had made Atsumu want to rip his own hair out.
Atsumu helps Kiyoomi with his heat. Why not? He's done it plenty of times.
Just never as his ex.

Summary
In attempt to change Osamu's perpetual single status, Suna offers to set him up with his 'dream man' but won't tell him anything about him, other than hints through memes and viral videos.
Osamu goes through with it, with the desperate thought that maybe, just maybe, this will help him get over the crush he has on Suna himself.
Or maybe not.
