Summary
London, June 1980.
In the midst of the First War, Remus ends up in St. Mungo's Hospital, attacked by a hostile werewolf pack. Sirius rushes to his bedside to comfort and dote on his boyfriend, followed closely by a worried James and Peter. Together, the Marauders come to terms with the near death experience of their lover and close friend, and discuss the future that looms ever so dark. In the midst of war, their friendship prevails.

“How could you possibly know what I was going to say?” Sirius blusters, lifting his head from the bed to look at James incredulously.
James returns his stare, deadpan, and finally lowers the magazine.
“You were going to go off on a tangent again about how hot Remus looked today and how badly you want to kiss him, shag him, shack up with him and adopt many children—in that exact order.”
“Was not!” Sirius squawks, but his voice – the traitor - betrays him and comes out too high-pitched to continue to feign he wasn't about to say... well, exactly that.
