“I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t,” he repeats, gasping, rocking back and forth with his head in his arms. “She’s gonna, she’s gonna find me – she’ll kill me – ”
“Naegi,” she says. He swallows a wheeze of air. “I’ll go with you. You have to look.”
“Don’t make me,” he pleads, and knows he’s already lost.
Kirigiri saves Naegi over, and over, and over again, so of course he thinks nothing of dying for her. That’s just the kind of person he is.

Izuku presses his face into Bakugo’s neck and the fabric of his sweatshirt. For a split second, Bakugo looks at Ochako over Izuku’s shoulder. His gaze is hard. Cold. The red color of his irises has cooled from a raging fire to stained glass. His eyes drill into her. It’s unmistakably a challenge. Try me.
Nothing less than absolute victory.
Ochako looks away.
In the end, Izuku will always choose Bakugo – and that’s fine. Ochako and Tenya are fine.

Since the night they burnt L, Light has been having a dream which bleeds into his waking life. In this dream, he opens his bedroom door to find a long tunnel that goes down and down and down; in his dream, L calls to him from beyond the grave, all the way from Yomi, and begs Light to bring him home.
Based (roughly) off the Shinto story of Izanagi's journey into the afterlife to bring his wife back to the land of the living.
His voice is soft. He says, “You left him so long, and he got so hungry, and you know once the dead eat from the bounty of Yomi they belong to it for forever and always, but you can have him anyway.”

Komaeda lets him go, and then he touches his elbow, gently, as though in consolation. “With my luck the way it is,” he says, “no one’s gonna be able to kill me unless I let them.”

Shortly after the first trial, the Hope's Peak kids are rescued. A few months later, because apparently they haven't been through enough already, a strange fungus starts turning the people around them into mindless monsters.
