Neil’s absence is deafening; it is to everyone, really, eating away all parts of Andrew’s life like a parasite.
This tragedy ripped him apart.
This tragedy split him open and scraped him raw.
Only Neil could shed light on Andrew’s whole being with his barely felt touch, and leave him in complete darkness with his absence.
The thing is, Andrew took him for granted. Neil was so much a part of him, Andrew hadn’t realized the absence of him would be fatal. Like taking out his own voice. How is he supposed to speak, now? Who is he supposed to talk to? What is he supposed to do, if there’s no Neil?
