    Cloud Strife, after almost two decades of recovery, rediscovery, and a lot more talking than he’s used to, is finally stable. Edge is thriving as an epicenter of the world. He has two marriages, three kids, and another undefined thing with Vincent. They don’t think too hard about it.

    The point is, he’s happy. He’s finally happy and there’s peace and while he knows Sephiroth may return, he doesn’t dread it like he used to.

    Of all the things that he could expect, having to live it all over again from the beginning has never been one of them. Turns out, he doesn’t get a choice.

    A mature, fully-awakened and aware Cloud Strife is sent back into the past to, well, fix things probably. He’s not very happy about the arrangement. So, for spite, he takes his fucking time and decides to fix things his fucking way.
