Summary
”Don’t bleed on the carpet,” Dazai says, as if it’s even his carpet he’d be bleeding on.
”I’ll make you bleed,” he says, although it comes out half-hearted as well as weird and distorted with the tissue blocking his nose. Dazai just smiles at him beatifically.
”Promise?”

Summary
“Stay here,” he says, low and commandeering in a way that sends small shivers down his spine. “I won’t be far,” he says and it’s sort of funny that he would say that, because he’s never far away, especially these days, always watching over him at a distance like he’s scared to get closer, yet terrified to let him out of his sight.

Summary
He’s lying on his back in the grass, watching sparrows fly overhead on a clear sky with the warmth of another body beside him, red wine warming his blood. Laughter bubbles from his lips, contained at first then crashing into him like an ocean wave, and Verlaine is laughing too. Arthur can feel the way the laughter shakes his ribs where their bodies are pressed together from hip to shoulder.
”What are we laughing about?” he asks, breathless.
”Life."

Summary
He thinks about Chuuya, or rather, he thinks about the god residing under his skin, the manic glint in his eye, head thrown back in laughter, exposing the delicate line of his throat, thinks about gravity twisting his bones into inhuman angles, the blood pouring out of every orifice on his body. He thinks about Chuuya, beautiful, frightening, human.

Summary
If you’re going to purposely kick my door on your way in, could you at least wipe your shoes first? Thanks.
And to drive home the message, there’s even a little frowny face drawn at the bottom of the page. The note isn’t signed, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who it’s from. Chuuya snorts, glancing at his mud caked boots at the door.
It had rained yesterday, after all.
