Lu Guang’s concern for his wellbeing stirs something in Cheng Xiaoshi’s stomach. “Don’t worry about that,” he says, but no, that is an actual cause for worry, he supposes. “If you go rogue or anything, I’ll probably just tie you to the bed.”
Lu Guang falters at his semblance of a joke, and Cheng Xiaoshi uses this to his advantage. “Have my blood, Lu Guang. It is the least I could do for you in return.”
Cheng Xiaoshi, a vampire hunter, finds himself in the care of Lu Guang, a vampire, one night. It somehow makes sense that in that one and only night they spend together he finds himself charmed by him.
