Rook’s eyes opened and she stared in surprise as Lucanis backed away from her, his whole demeanor apologetic. “Excuse me,” he said as he quickly left the pantry. Rook stared at the direction he went in shock as she replayed everything that had just happened in her head. The mood was right, she had expressed interest, he had expressed interest in her. Everything was set up properly and yet…A fic for my Rook's reaction to the expressing romantic interest scene. Chapter 2 is Lucanis's POV.
