Laugh at me like the rest.” The blue inkling was silent instead. He finished it up and then stood up to throw away the wrapper and the tray. “I’m sorry.” Goggles sat back down and picked up a drink from out the dirt. “I’m sorry I didn’t ask for your number so I could check in on you! You were really cool out there in that second final splatfest! And with the shadows! I really wanted to get to know you but never had the chance! You helped me so so much!”
The praise surprised the sad inkling. Goggles took out his phone, then swiped the few minutes old notification away. “Can I have your number Hive?”
