“I do not recall telling you my name.” Viktor stated matter-of-factly. “Yet you know it. Have we met?” Yes. Many times. Practically lived together inside their lab, but he couldn’t tell Viktor that. No, this Viktor had no idea who Jayce really was, and he intended on keeping it that way.
Jayce stumbled on his own thoughts trying to find an answer. Shit. Viktor is right, he wasn’t supposed to tell Jayce his name until later in his apartment. Damn it. “Uh—“ he stalled as he tried to think of a lie. “H-Heimerdinger had mentioned you once. You’re his assistant, right? Snarky Undercity kid with an accent? Not many other people here who fit that description.”

After the Hexcore collapsed, Jayce gets sent back to where it all started, the day he met Viktor, but Viktor seems to have no recollection of him. What happens when Jayce gets another chance, knowing what he knows now.
My take on Season 2 Jayce with Season 1 Viktor until Viktor eventually remembers everything and they live happily ever after because I refuse to give these two any more sad endings!
No idea how many chapters this will have, we're just gonna roll with it until the dopamine stops.

She laughs when she's sad, not wanting anyone to pity her when something fucks up her life like that one time she lost Scrabble to her sister. (It's a big deal, let's be real.)
She laughs when she's mad, all bold and sarcastic before throwing a deserving punch at an idiot who said the wrong words to her at the wrong time.
Right now? She's clutching her arms around her stomach, hoping her laughter would convince and hide the current emotion. Caitlyn's probably scowling at her right now which makes the moment all the while seem natural.
After all, she's laughing at her best friend.
For a pathetic reason on her side of the coin.
She's laughing because she's jealous.

However, shimmer’s addictive nature threatens to spiral out of control.
Viktor works hard to find a solution to prevent the disaster shimmer can cause, while simultaneously exploring his feelings for Jayce, trying to mask them as mere affection. It was more than that, and they were both starting to get pretty tired of pretending.

After being joined and sucked into the hexcore anomaly, Viktor and Jayce wake up in a different universe, in their normal, human bodies. Having now to face an entirely new life while still weighed and changed by the errors and violence of the recent past, they have to learn to work together again, even if, for that, they also need to confront the new and old feelings that have brought them together and cast them apart. Viktor loves Jayce; Jayce loves Viktor, but it is not as simple as that. But it could be. It's a new page, after all.

Summary
Two lab partners, that's all they were, lab partners. The only word to describe their relationship was professional, at least on the surface.
Jayce had always known he was curious about his coworker, he was just oddly terrified of Viktor, especially since he noticed his slow transition to being colder and more reserved. It started when Viktor began to cough more- to the point where he would accidentally smear blood on surfaces without realizing, and his walk began to be more labored.
Viktor knew how he felt about Jayce, he admired him like a beautiful statue in a garden- peacefully, in awe. Then his health came up, and soon the admiration turned to pain, as if he needed even more pain. With these problems unwavering, he feels as if the only way to save himself from heartbreak, and Jayce from disappointment is to slowly leave him. Maybe everyone.
