Summary
Kaeya had begun to hate his heats. Frequent and strong, they were terrible to suffer through and left his body aching for children he didn't have after, brought on by his own desire for those children. His deepest wish, for the longest time, had been for family- those who loved him and wouldn't abandon him. But he knows he destroyed any chances to have one years ago, and resigns himself to the bitterness...he finds some solace in visiting the children's home in Mond, cradling the abandoned infants there and letting them nurse. He hadn't thought anyone would find out.
