From this close, he thought he made out the lips on the figure before him quirking up into a smile, but how could that be? Anyone who would smile in a situation like this would have to be some sort of wackjob.
“Alright,” the other chuckled.
Yoojin’s brows furrowed as he wondered just what this delusional dude was gonna do to help in this kind of situation, but then he watched as the other dived into the water and that's when Yoojin saw it. As the other’s top half submerged into the water, a long, inhuman tail trailed behind, slithering up from the water like a snake before following the owner’s head and torso into the endless pool of ink.
He looked at the spot where the other had disappeared into the dark abyss for a beat before his mind caught up with him.
Merman.

Hinata froze mid-sentence, whipping his head around to see the Adlers’ team manager staring them down, her gaze sharp as a knife. She was young, but the fire in her eyes made Hinata feel like she could burn him alive with a look.
“We’re going to cut to the chase,” the MSBY team manager, a much older man with a no-nonsense air, said, breaking the thick silence. “Are you two in a romantic relationship or not?”
Forced into silence by their PR teams, Hinata and Kageyama must keep their relationship hidden for the next year—but secrecy isn't their strong suit. With every attempt to stay hidden ending in disaster, their efforts are further complicated by a certain MSBY setter and spiker who just won’t stop playing cupid.
This is the sequel to For the Love of Volleyball!, but can also be enjoyed as a standalone story.

“Come on, Bakayama,” Shoyou hissed, tugging on Kageyama’s hair again. “It’s been months, can you not do this later?”
Kageyama snickered, nipping at the skin and squeezing Shoyou’s knee. “Brazil clearly hasn’t taught you any patience,” he remarked, lifting Shoyou’s leg so he could bite at the firm muscle under his butt.
“Fuck you,” Shoyou gasped. “I’ve been plenty patient.”

Summary
Here's what Han Yoojin knew of dragons: the kingdom was terrified of them, their figures were engraved into coins, and no civilians were permitted in their vicinity.
