“Sure thing, kiddo.” Don said.
KIDDO?
“It’s a nickname,” Caroline explained. “Until we give you your real name.”
That made sense. He had to be called something.

Summary
Steve barely survived imprisonment, torture, and the Battle of Starcourt. He was left with too many slowly healing injuries, including one to his brain. He hated having to be babied and cared for while he recovered from his concussion. It might be the brain damage speaking, but a lot of the symptoms don’t make any sense to him. What does an increased risk of impulsivity even mean? On top of all that, the more he talks to Robin, the more he starts to question his sexuality.
He gets a crash course in the complications and side effects of a concussion when he’s down to his last hundred dollars and desperate to figure himself out. He goes to Eddie Munson’s trailer, hoping to score some weed and seduce the possibly gay drug dealer, but concussions are a real bitch, and instead, he ends up paying Eddie all of his remaining money to give the guy a blowjob.
That one moment of misunderstanding and poor impulse control starts a year-long back-and-forth between the two men; as Steve comes to understand his sexuality, Eddie comes to realize his worth, and they learn what it means to get what they want.

Summary
A series of short stories that began as a short series for #stobinmonth 2023. The original four stories were posted for the corresponding day of Platonic Stobin Month, but are ordered chronologically in the series. Then the series got wildly out of control. For 2024 I am posting one story a month. Every story is placed in chronological order when the story is posted.
Platonic Stobin is the central focus of the story, but Steddie and Rockie are romantic relationships that develop later in the series.
This AU focuses on Robin meeting Steve as Steve at Scoops Ahoy and as Mr. Wolf in the woods during the summer of 1985. She slowly becomes friends with both of them and then season three happens. Then season four happens and stuff starts to go radically AU.

Summary
Steve's parents always locked their hearts in a safe in his dad's study at night.
For as long as Steve can remember, he watched them do it, pulling their hearts out of their chests and tucking them away in the safe in an easy, practiced motion - like a dance, like something they did without even thinking about it.
He liked it, liked watching them move in unison. It made him daydream about his own partner in the future, how they could move in sync with each other, anticipating each other's every movement and not having to say a thing to know what the other wanted.
Even his parents’ hearts were similar. They were both the same pale pink, bisected with only a few silver scars, and though they didn't quite beat in unison, it was close enough that Steve's young eyes didn't notice the difference.
“One day,” his dad always said. “When you're old enough, your heart will go in here, too. When you're trained to be separated from it, when you're grown up.”
Steve wanted to be grown up more than anything.
But his heart never looked like theirs.
—
Or, Steve's journey in letting himself be folded into a family of his own making, and finding the kind of love that will last forever.

Summary
He had never been one to panic, and after fighting monsters all through his teen years there really wasn’t much that could phase him at this point, but Steve froze the second the words left his kid’s mouth.
He had practiced for this, he had prepared. There was a sizable stack of index cards somewhere collecting dust in a desk upstairs, a perfect speech about love and blood and what does and does not make a family.
But none of that mattered now. Now he was a butterfly pinned to a board, stuck in place staring down a question he could not fully comprehend the answer to.
"Are you my dad, Steve?"
