“Is it worth what happened today?”
Hashirama doesn’t answer him. Instead, he rolls over, barely stifling a yawn. He’s wearing the spare nightshirt Madara left out for him, navy blue against his tan skin.
“These feelings,” he says. “They’ll be gone in the morning.”
Hashirama grieves. Madara waits. It's not perfect but it might just be enough.

“It’s just a temporary solution,” the nurse says as she watches Madara's eyes wander. “We’re overwhelmed this month– if someone could just take him for a week, that’s all we need.”
Hashirama bites his lip. Neither of them speak. The nurse looks between them pleadingly.
Hashirama has seven days to fall in love with baby Obito.

Summary
Otabek’s life post accident is Not Going Well, Yuri doesn’t do change, and everyone else just wants to knock their heads together until they learn to accept the help being offered. Too bad help is a four letter word, as far as these idiots are concerned.
Otabek is not okay.
Yuri is so wrapped up in the bliss of their budding relationship that he doesn’t notice the little tells right away. Otabek’s explanations are always reasonable and make perfect sense. When he doesn’t have one, they still somehow end up on a completely different subject, leaving Yuri to realize later that he never got an answer.
Otabek is a very skilled liar; it takes almost a week for the excuses to pile high enough that Yuri can’t ignore them anymore.
