It had been two and a half months since the end of Spring Break.
Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.
What the fuck was wrong with him?

----“Then look at the pictures,” Stede snapped, a look of horror appearing on his face a moment later. Blackbeard guffawed. He loved it when Stede had enough of his bullshit. Made him all…tingly and happy.
“If there’s no pretty naked people, I’m coming back and starting a fight,” Blackbeard warned, turning tail for the captain’s cabin.
“Oh, so the same thing you’ve been trying to do all day?” Stede muttered, but not quietly enough. Blackbeard flipped him off as he swaggered into the room.

Summary
Stiles is (still) single when the pack's getaway to the Caribbean comes by (oh misplaced optimism); lucky for him Derek is committed to being uncommitted and even after all these years is still powerless against Stiles' unique forms of persuasion.
Cue a romantic getaway for two: sun, sand, and sarcasm abound...and the two roped into competing in the Resort's version of the Newlywed game. Only it's completely obvious it's going to end in disaster. Probably homicide.
