Summary
Cas sleeps with the light on.
Not only that, but he leaves his laptop on, too - usually playing some scattered mixture of videos and shows, the voices overlapping and interweaving, completely unintelligible. He leaves the screen open, light and shadows slatting across his face as he sleeps, changing his dreams.
He always dreams.

Summary
“Alright,” Enjolras says after a moment of silence. “Get it out of your system.”
Grantaire, without consciously planning to do so, bursts out laughing.
“You're an elf,” Grantaire manages, redundantly, once his laughter dies down. “Oh my God, Enjolras. You're a mall elf.”
--
Or, Enjolras and Grantaire realise how little they really know about each other, and that Christmas really does bring out the best in some people.

""Kiss me."
"What?"
"Kiss me," he repeated, eyes wide.
And yeah, ok, maybe kissing Enjolras, the same Enjolras who he had been in love with for longer than he would admit, was a bad idea. But he was asking him of all people, and he looked downright desperate, and he was asking Grantaire to fucking kiss him, and he was only human."

“Quick instructions: read one question aloud to your partner, then both of you answer. Swap roles for the next question. Answering all 36 questions should take around one hour, but time isn't important…”
“Fine,” Enjolras said. He wasn’t giving anything away in his tone of voice. If he was angry, excited. Grantaire’s heart was racing. “You go first.”
He clicked okay.

For Orpheus it’d been forbitten to look behind,
but you’re not him, you’re Apollo, my love.
You could have turned but never did, I’m resigned
to know I lost my chance, Apollo, my love.or
Grantaire is in a band called L'Amis and Enjolras is an investigative journalist. Courfeyrac might just be the sidekick in this but he sure plays an important role.

"You don’t look convinced," says Enjolras.
"I can’t see this restaurant going vegan. We’re in France."
"Two percent of France’s population avoids animal products to some extent," Enjolras crosses his arms. "They’re a valuable target group."
"And yet," Grantaire wags a finger at Enjolras, "It strikes me that 98 percent is the bigger number."
a.k.a. Enjolras and Grantaire meet, clash & do some other stuff with food along the way

Summary
Losing his scholarship had been a cruel blow, one that had caught Feuilly completely flatfooted. Still, he hadn’t planned on telling anyone. He’d intended to take a semester or two off, earn some money, look into other scholarship options. That was how Marius had gotten involved in the first place. He might have come from money, but since walking away from his grandfather, he’d become a wizard at finding scholarships and grants and all kinds of loopholes to make his life more affordable. He was the one who’d found that marriage tuition break in the university’s by-laws. Still, nothing would ever have come of it if Courfeyrac hadn’t gotten Feuilly talking about it, hadn’t convinced him that it wasn’t as ludicrous an idea as it had first seemed, that they lived in a state with marriage equality and he was sure that any one of their friends would happily marry him a little just to help out, that, hell, he’d be honored to do it if Feuilly asked him.
So, Feuilly did.
