Summary
To see Ishgard flourish, to see its children run through its streets, bereft of the constant shadow of war. To see it rebuild, to see life and color be brought once more to his city of stone–
– what would its Speaker not give?

Summary
‘Twas bad enough that he was forced to apportion his buggering tent, but to be ordered to share warmth? Every movement of Ser Aymeric against his back sets him on edge, makes something within him bristle and bay, rattle about the inside of his ribs in protest. Though, he will admit, begrudgingly, that of all he might have been assigned, Aymeric is perhaps– not the worst.

Summary
As he stares at him, there in his bedroom, the silhouette of him dark against the distant moonlight, he tries to imagine a worse fate for he who he holds most dear: held fast by his greatest Enemy, he who turned his family to ash, forced to do his bidding, reduced to nothing more than a conduit for his vengeance. He who dedicated his entire life, his entire purpose and being to ensuring that no child would know the horror of finding their home destroyed by Nidhogg’s horde.
Nay, he cannot fathom it.

Summary
!! Endwalker 6.0 Spoilers !!
Nay, he should not have come, not when other, more pressing concerns lie unresolved elsewhere. Yet–
Yet the thought of Aymeric, alone on such a day– the thought of him smiling in that infuriatingly placid way of his and burying himself in his work into the late hours of the night, eyes dimming in barely-hidden disappointment as another holiday passes by uncelebrated, ignored out of duty and obligation when he knows how much he adores indulging in such silly traditions–
He found the thought to be– unbearable. Nigh unthinkable.
I've gone soft, he thinks with a grimace, yet finds he cannot regret his impromptu decision to teleport here, now with the sight of Aymeric mere fulms away, almost within reach. Aymeric deserves every onze of happiness this star has to offer, and if he might bring him some small amount of relief from his burdens, he will do so gladly.

Summary
An attempt to maintain consistent contact with the Warrior of Light while he is traveling causes more problems than it solves. [Set loosely post EW, start of patch.]
--
“How do you care for the scales?” G’raha asks before he can talk himself out of it. Estinien stretches his legs out until he takes up as much of the seat in the sun as G’raha’s smaller frame will allow, tail a lazy pendulum back and forth where it lies draped across the cushion. “While all of my attention will be spent on ensuring we can reverse this, I would know how best to care for you– that is, your body, in the meantime.”

Summary
"Unfortunately, I doubt I will be able to make your regular training times due to other engagements. If it is not too much trouble, perhaps we could meet in the evenings, when both of our schedules are lighter?"
Estinien raises an eyebrow. "So…private lessons?"
"Yes, if you are amenable to such an arrangement."Although Vrtra's new simulacrum is proficient in combat, he requests additional lessons in order improve his skills and save Azdaja from the Thirteenth. And so Estinien sets to training not only the soldiers of the Radiant Host, but also the satrap himself in lancecraft -- and may find himself developing some tender feelings for the ruler of Radz-at-Han in the process.

While dealing with business in the Meghaduta, Vrtra suddenly feels the brush of Nidhogg's aether, familiar, frenzied, and pained. Yet Nidhogg is dead, and such a thing shouldn't be possible...unless something terrible has happened to Estinien, who left hours earlier for a hunt.

Summary
Estinien burned so brightly, so furiously. The Warrior of Light could not remember what it was to burn, even as she took up her lance and commanded the dragon within her. In the cold recesses of her heart, she wondered what it would be like to be the target of his fire. Would she break? Would he break against her in the effort? Or would she too ignite?
