He’s nine again– nine and new and knows so many things now so rather than try to go back–
He thinks he has the chance to make things right.
The bright blue trainers he puts on are a pair he hasn’t worn in forever, something he never thought about after he grew out of them (will grow out of?) a year from now, and sets off into the night and into the rain.
The plan he has in his brain is not really a plan, moreso just a couple of half thrown ideas and maybe five steps into building back the life he had in the most painless way he could.
Maybe, he thinks, maybe this plan can start off with the family he misses– because he’s sixty and most of them too injured or too old or too dead–
Call him selfish but he misses them. He would rather find them than get himself back into that lonely existence he called a life before he woke up at nine.
Dick makes do because that’s all he can do really.

He knew what he’d always wanted, ever since he was that little street rat who spent money he needed for food on making himself look clean. Because he’d needed to look clean and presentable to get into the public libraries. Because they wouldn’t have let a dirty homeless kid touch the books.
“I want to go to college.”
And Talia had made that happen for him.
(AU where, at the end of his League of Assassins training, Jason decides to go to Metropolis for college instead of going back to Gotham for revenge. Things spiral from there. The title is so sarcastic by the way. There’s nothing regular about Jason Todd.)

Summary
When Danny Phantom, High King of the Infinite Realms, Lord Commander of the Dead, and Protector of the Grave—thank you Fright Knight for insisting on using all his royal titles—made a deal with John Constantine to repeal the Ecto-Acts he didn't expect such far reaching consequences.
Now he, Amity Park, and the Infinite Realms are on the Justice League's radar. Not the intended outcome but at least now Jazz can attend Gotham U and won't wring his neck for standing in the way of her higher education.
