Harry struggled against the binds keeping him in place, his breaths coming out in sharps pants as he twisted away from his touch. He’s a monster, he reminded himself, forcing himself not to think about how gentle he could be with him. How much he missed his touch. You need to run from him, run far, far away. You are in the middle of a war!
“I’m tired of chasing,” Voldemort continued, stepping closer to Harry’s struggling form. “Of indulging this little game of yours. Let’s stop pretending there’s anywhere you could run where I would not find you.” He paused in front of Harry and knelt down, a hand reaching out to caress his cheek possessively. “Let’s stop pretending you want to be anywhere but my arms, hmm?”
“Go to hell!” Harry spits, jerking away from his touch. “I’m not yours!”
“And that, my love, is where you’re wrong,” Voldemort said with a crazed smirk. “Nothing, not even death, could keep me from you. You always have and always will belong to me!”

Inko's funeral.The sky was bright and blue, mocking him, as the sun beating down on the back of Shouta’s neck. Even in the heat, though, his palms felt clammy and cold. Clammy and cold as he held onto that tiny, tiny hand that clutched him back so strongly.
Shouta glanced down at his nephew, feeling a wash of concern flood over him when he saw the boy had tears in his eyes. Shouta had already explained to him that his mother was gone, that she had died- had left him- and had to explain further, when the boy asked, that she wouldn’t be able to visit him ever again.
Death was a heavy concept for a four-year-old, and Shouta had initially been concerned that Izuku wouldn’t understand.
Seeing the tears in his nephew’s eyes now, Shouta knew that Izuku understood too well.
...
In the wake of his elder sister's funeral, Shouta feels like an inadequate guardian for his four-year-old nephew. Hizashi has a few things to say about that.

He made an ‘abort’ gesture, stumbling back into the shadows. “Robin,” he rasped out. “Code Fern. I’ve been hit, we’re heading out.”
