Where each chapter is a draft I’ve never completed, will likely never complete, but works as a little ficlet that’s fun enough to share.

Summary
"The two of us were wondering if you know of anywhere nearby where we can spend the night? We’re too afraid to drive in this weather.”
The bartender holds out her hands, gesturing to the space around them. “Why, we let rooms right upstairs!”
Stunned by their luck, Ace and Nancy turn to each other, disbelieving.
Ace throws his hands up in victory. “That’s perfect!”
“Perfect timin’, too,” the bartender tells them. “We just turned away another young couple come lookin’ for our last room. Admitted right out they weren’t married, if you can believe it!”
***
Forced off of the road in the middle of a blizzard, Ace and Nancy must pretend to be married in order to snag a room at the inn.

Summary
This was not Nancy’s destination when she sped away from Ryan’s. Too caught up in her own angry and embarrassed thoughts, she simply drove until she stopped, nowhere particular in mind.
Right in front of Ace’s house.
Nancy doesn’t ponder on why her subconscious would lead her here. She does, however, wonder if being here is a bad idea.
According to everyone, she’s full of those lately.

Summary
“I’m not drinking this just to forget a handful of kisses,” he replied after a lengthy pause, and stood the jar on Giles’ desk next to Buffy’s hip. “You wanna mess around with my memories, you can give me something worthy of it.”
Buffy rolled her eyes. She’d been expecting this. “You want me to pay you.”
He chuckled, leaning closer. “No, honey. I want you to persuade me.”
Three days since the Will Be Done spell had been unwilled, and Buffy is desperate to forget. Enough to take one of Willow’s memory-eraser potions. But she won’t do it alone.
Spike just wants to go one week without the Scoobies mucking about with his head, and if he’s gonna let them take a swing at his memories, it’s got to be for something more than a handful of kisses.
A lot more.

Summary
It hits him when he realizes that every song is about her.
The ones about looking across a room and being so captivated by someone that you forget why you’re even there, the ones about yearning for something you know you could never have, the ones about the echoes that never quite fade out - the one that will haunt your days and dreams for all eternity.
Every song is about having love, or losing it, or missing it, he thinks one morning as some generic drivel about lovers and Christmas lights comes on the radio. So every fucking song is about her.
Britta leaves, Jeff has multiple unfortunate realizations.
